Every note we sell is designed to read as cash on camera and to be impossible to mistake for money in the hand. Four safeguards are built into every design, and we do not make exceptions to them.
1. Printed one side only
The reverse of every note is blank. Stacks are banded and framed so the blank side never faces the lens.
2. Deliberately off-size
Standard Studio Series notes are 110 × 48 mm — under 75% of the size of a typical banknote. Classroom notes go the other way, at 240 × 100 mm.
3. PROP overprint
A large PROP overprint runs across the face of every note, with MOTION PICTURE USE ONLY along the top and NOT LEGAL TENDER along the bottom.
4. Invented designs
Studio Series notes use our own portraits, seals and colourways. They do not copy any country’s currency.
Shooting tips
- Mid and wide shots read as cash without any help.
- For hands counting notes, use a full-print stack and frame on the edges.
- Fill bags and cases with filler stacks and put two full-print stacks on top.
