Is this real money?
No. Every note is a prop. They are printed on one side only, sized smaller than real notes (or much larger, for classroom sets), carry a large PROP overprint and the words MOTION PICTURE USE ONLY and NOT LEGAL TENDER, and use invented designs that do not copy any real currency.
What can I use prop money for?
Film, television, theatre, music videos, photography, advertising, cosplay, escape rooms, classroom lessons and cashier training. They are made to read as cash on camera at normal shooting distances, not to be handled as currency.
How does it look on camera?
At mid and wide shot distances, yes — the colours, banding and stack heights read as cash. In an extreme close-up the PROP overprint is visible by design. For close-ups of a hand counting notes, most productions shoot a full-print stack and frame tight on the edges.
Can I spend it or use it in a shop as a joke?
No. Trying to pass prop money as payment is a crime in virtually every country, joke or not. Notes are deliberately marked so nobody can mistake them, and we refuse orders that ask for the markings to be removed or made smaller.
What is the difference between full-print and filler stacks?
Full-print stacks have every note printed. Filler stacks have a printed note on the top and bottom and blank prop paper in between. Use full-print for anything handled on camera and filler to dress cases, bags and tables cheaply.
Do you offer custom designs?
We can print custom fantasy currency for a production — your own country name, portrait and colours — as long as it does not imitate a real currency and keeps the one-sided print, off-size and PROP overprint.
How does bulk pricing work?
Discounts apply automatically at checkout based on the number of items in your cart. Larger productions can contact us for a quote.
How is it shipped?
Stacks ship banded and boxed with standard tracked shipping, and the customs declaration lists the contents as printed theatrical props. Rush shipping is available for productions on a deadline.
